Weaver Bridge Road Closure 13/7 – 17/7/26

I have checked with CE Highways this morning and confirm that the bridge repair requires a 24 hour road closure.
Key documentation reporting the closure was inconsistent due to a 'technical error'; the system didn't update from the initial school hours closure notice to the second and final, 24 hour one!
CE Highways are now checking with Home to School Transport providers to overcome any problems caused by this.
I am well aware of the issues this has created for many road users and hope this provides some clarity.
