After the stories run on AudlemOnline at the weekend about the near record water levels on the River Weaver, and water roaring down both Audlem Brook and the River Duckow into the Weaver just to the west of Audlem, we are pleased to report that the river level at Whitchurch Road bridge yesterday afternoon was just 1.33 metres.

The typical river level range for this location is between 0.12 metres and 1.70 metres. You can check out more details on this link to Environment Agency reports on the river level at Audlem.

The highest river level recorded at the bridge is 2.59 metres and the river level reached 2.56 metres on Sunday when this photo was taken.
