Regular readers of Chatbox will have seen Judy N's post yesterday saying:
"Magic was found today (now yesterday). Was found at Audlem Cricket club, a bit thin and smelly but is happy to be home.
"Thank you so much to everybody who helped. She will be getting a locator collar this time. It is my Birthday today (yesterday, of course) and I can honestly say this is the best present I could have wished for."
Magic was missing from home for 28 days this time. At least on this occasion she didn't get too far – or, more to the point, is refusing to say where she has been. On a previous escapade, she was eventually found in Nantwich.
Judy N, we know, is very grateful to the cricket club and has, we understand, made a donation to Audlem CC. Magic, it seems, doesn't understand that the cricket season is not yet underway and didn't enjoy much sporting action up at the Gorse Croft.
As we have reported in earlier stories about Magic, the photo is not of the heroine of this tale – but it is of a cat and it is black.
