Walking Football — Audlem

Since April of this year, our group of footballers have been attending a weekly session every Friday morning to enjoy a modified version of the beautiful game — 'Walking Football'.

What started out as strangers coming together for a football session (some having not played for over 30 years) has now turned into a very close group of friends. It's amazing the togetherness sport can bring and we now regularly spend time going for coffee together after sessions. This now goes beyond being just a game – it's a hub for social interaction away from football, with an extremely active WhatsApp group and an ever-nearing 3 course Christmas get together booked in!

We would like to welcome new members of the community to come and join us with the offer of your FIRST SESSION BEING COMPLETELY FREE!

The turn of the New Year will see us begin to play competitive friendly matches against other similar Walking Football groups within the area and we'd love for some new recruits to come and represent Audlem with us!

We currently come together every Friday morning 9:45am till 10:45am on Audlem Playing Field. In the New Year, we are looking to migrate indoors to escape the wet season once we have found a welcoming venue!
