Tomorrow sees Audlem 1st XI's Division 2 crunch match with second-placed Frodsham. Following two consecutive weeks when no play was possible and last week's drubbing at Holmes Chapel, tomorrow's home game is one that Audlem must win.

Regular readers of Audlem Online will have noted that there wasn't a report of last Saturday's game. This is because the person who holds the detailed information about the game is on holiday – oops! The summary shows that Holmes Chapel were restricted to 127 for 9 with Lyndon Woodcock taking 5 for 40. In their reply Audlem were bowled out for just 71. Top scorer was Andy Capper with 20.

Fortunately, leaders Haslington thrashed Frodsham by 141 runs. As a result the gap between Audlem and Frodsham remains at 33 points.

Anyone wishing to watch tomorrow's important game at the Gorse Croft will be welcome. You can either get there on foot via Mount Pleasant or by car. There is a bar at the ground to quench your thirst. The game starts at 2pm.
