Village packed for ASET Fireworks

Some wondered what impact having the Bonfire & Fireworks on a Sunday would have on the crowds. Yet the numbers were massive with the Playing Field seemingly as busy as last year, helped by near-perfect Bonfire Night weather.

ASET, the Audlem Special events Team opted for a Sunday show as they wanted to use Blitz Fireworks, who had to be in Crewe on Saturday, to run the show.

The decision proved right as Blitz demonstrated why they are The Pyrotechnic Champions 2011.

It was an amazing show and everyone there seemed delighted, from the very young to the not quite so young.

The choreography of music and fireworks was awesome and the finale drew gasps of admiration as the sky was lit by seemingly hundreds of rockets. What a show! Blitz and ASET deserved their huge rounds of applause.

With everyone smiling after the show, Audlem's businesses also seemed to be packed out and in for a great evening.
