Village of the Year – Update

A new TV series 'Village of the year' produced for Channel 4 and which begins next week 15th january will showcase Audlem along with a selection other UK villages.

Following a rigorous application process early last year, Audlem was selected with others from several hundred villages that applied to the show that seeks to crown one village of the year. During the summer Penelope Keith and a team of judges including Juliet Sargeant, Alex Langlands and 'sewing bee' Patrick Grant visited the villages to find out what makes them special.

Audlem will feature on an episode to be aired at 3pm on February 1st (Channel 4; All 4) so be sure to switch on.
