(The website link that was here no longer works) Audlem Online has been contacted by an Audlem resident who wants the litter problem to be raised as she is really sad to see the amount of litter around the centre of Audlem, particularly around the Co-op shop area and the Buttermarket. She says she regularly picks up litter, as do others, but imagines it originates from purchases from the shops, so surely the shop managers have a duty of care to keep the square litter-free?

While Judy Benson of Williams' newsagents regularly collects rubbish from around the Buttermarket and the Square, are others doing their bit? If you have any ideas or thoughts, particularly if you are a trader, contact Audlem Online and we will publish your comments. This may also be an issue the newly formed Audlem Traders' Association may wish to look at.
