A very special postal delivery today in Audlem

Andrew Smith of Audlem Post Office writes: "Today (Friday), Samantha Walley, one of our popular village posties, will be carrying out her final duty in Audlem before she embarks on a life changing adventure......MARRIAGE!!!

"Sam and fiance, David, will tie the knot at Hankelow Chapel on Saturday at 1.00p.m. Colleagues at Audlem's Delivery Office have advised David to use Royal Mail Special Delivery (a premium service which guarantees delivery by 1.00p.m.) to ensure his bride "gets to the church on time" – so watch out for the post van in Hankelow on Saturday morning. Finally, do not despair – Miss Samantha Walley will be replaced by Mrs. Samantha Buckley after she returns from honeymoon!"
