Vanessa off to Nepal

As reported on Monday on Audlem Online, Audlem Ramblers Society (ARS) have just enjoyed a weekend of hiking in North Wales.

One member of ARS is heading a little further this week and tackling some even tougher terrain. Vanessa Knibbs, seen here on Moel Siobod (2850ft) in Snowdonia on Sunday, was warming up for her four weeks of trekking in Nepal.

This includes taking in the testing Anapurna mountain range, where she will be camping and climbing at the dizzy heights of 20,000ft.
