Vaccination Staff Praised

As the roll out of Covid 19 vaccinations reached our village in earnest, I received so many messages from residents expressing their thanks, which in turn energised me to formally register these thanks via a Notice of Motion at the recent Council Meeting on 17th February:

Thanks Proposed by Councillor R Bailey:

This Council places on record their thanks to all involved in the Covid 19 vaccination programme within Cheshire East. This includes all health staff, Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service and many volunteers.

I was proud to represent your views with the Council Meeting as to how I felt it only right that thanks be formally registered on behalf of residents in Cheshire East and how I was bringing it forward because of the number of people who live in Audlem Ward who had contacted me.

It is regrettable that Cheshire East have only now issued a press statement, but I don't believe that devalues in any way the important part you all played in making this happen.
