Urgent – Proposed Local Winter Gritting Cuts

Dear Residents of Audlem

Cheshire East are trying again to cut the road gritting service next winter. I, fellow Rural Councillors and Parish Councillors are fighting hard again to stop this happening and we have already sent dozens of your emails to Cheshire East protesting against the cuts.

Cheshire East also tried to cut gritting last year and we successfully protected all our roads on your behalf but we need your help again this year! I

It is short notice but please let me know your thoughts on the cuts to gritting which affect our roads and support me to tell Cheshire East to stop the cuts to our Gritting Service!!!

• Closing Date: Please Respond by 20th November 2020
• Roads Affected in the Cheshire East Audlem Ward are: Coole Lane, Heatley Lane, Hollin Green Lane, Longhill Lane, Wrenbury Road and Windmill Lane, Hankelow.
• Grit bins have been suggested as an alternative.
