It may have been a freezing day on Saturday, although thankfully dry, but the cold did not prevent the ADAS team, with the help of volunteer helpers, manoeuvring the Big Tree into place in The Square.
Next, it was installing thousands of lights not only to the Big One but another sixty smaller trees as they were trimmed and tested before being installed around the village.
It's a massive effort and the result will be on show to all at The Big Switch on Friday, now an event that attracts thousands as Santa arrives down at the Wharf amidst floating candles, plus the Grotto, the lights being illuminated on the Big Tree and the shops open for a festive evening.
It's the team of volunteers that make this possible and who turn Audlem into one of the best dressed locations for the Festive Season anywhere in the land.
