The UK Street Dance Challenge

The UK Street Dance Challenge event was held at The Alton Towers last weekend.

At this very lively and great night for youngsters, our very own Macy Gultekin (she of that wonderful Amazing Grace fame) and Cooper Bonell (son of Matt, who is so generous to our community efforts and the best car detail man in the county) took part in a group named STARBLAZE.

They were competing in the group dance section of the challenge, for those under 10 years of age. The youngsters attend the Academy of Performing Arts -- a Mini FAME if you like. They competed hard against a great line up -- and took second place, behind a team who were a tad commercial. So in effect they were the winners!

If ever we need it, yet another happy and lovely example of the great talent we have here and of the happy community in which we are privileged to live.

Well-done to Macy and Cooper.
