It turned out to be a busy day for Audlem yesterday with the village featured on TV, looking glorious, it has to be said, with its St George's flag fluttering from the church tower. Audlem was on the BBC and Granada News in the early evening and again on the 10.00 BBC News, with many residents interviewed for the cameras.

Over 600 votes have been cast so far, although we suspect a good number have come from outside the village! The voting has stayed at a ratio of 2:1 in favour of the application. As you can see, Audlem Online has introduced a new illustration, the Welsh dragon, as a welcome to all our new Welsh friends and the many originating from Wales who live in Audlem.
