A meeting of the Turnpike Field Working Group was held on Wednesday 22nd June at 7 pm in Audlem Public Hall.

Key items discussed were:-

• Following approval by the Parish Council of proposals to improve the public footpath (FP26) on the approach to Grey’s Bridge, a working group was formed to progress the works. Volunteers will be sought to help with the transportation and construction of the footpath.
• The outline way forward for the Car Park will be presented to the next meeting of the Parish Council for consideration.
• A tree inspection is due, approval for which will be sought from the Council.
• Mowing the grass – a regular maintenance schedule is in place and has been agreed with the contractor, but special mowing arrangements for events will require liaison between the organisation making the booking, a volunteer from TFWG and the contractor.
