Turnpike Field closed for maintenance

Turnpike Field will be closed from the evening of Sunday 18th November to Thursday 22nd November to allow for the field to be cut with a flail mower. This is weather dependent, so it cannot be guaranteed which day the work will be done.

For Health and Safety reasons the gate on Shropshire Street to the field is being locked for a few days.

The Parish Council is sorry for this inconvenience, but the cut will improve the health of the grass.

Should there be any change to the time the field is closed, we will let you know.
