Turnpike Field Car Park – UPDATE

Hello all

This has been a very complicated and involved year for the council especially with the effects of Covid

Behind the scenes we have been making significant progress with the proposed car park on Turnpike field.

We will be holding a public meeting on the 30th March in the Public Hall at 7pm to which all villagers are invited when we will be inviting villagers to vote on our proposal to continue with the construction of the car park. We believe that it is imperative that we are given the mandate to proceed with any project before continuing.

Should the village decide that the car park is not a suitable project we will entertain suggestions for other projects.

If the village feel the car park project should continue then we will build it.

On other news we have a highly qualified clerk starting in the next 7 days and once appointed we will hold a full council meeting. We would welcome any villagers who want to attend and anyone who wants to join us as a councillor to work, as we do, for the benefit of the village would be welcomed with open arms
