Fordhall Farm, just over the border in Shropshire on the A53 between Mullers and Tern Hill, is well-known in the area for being Britain's first organic farm. But now it is literally fighting for its survival. Brother and sister Charlotte and Ben Hollins have until Saturday 1st July to raise the £800,000 needed to buy Fordhall Farm before the landowner sells the land it occupies for redevelopment as an industrial estate.

The pair have so far raised £729,000 so there is a real chance that the farm can be saved. For more information on the fight to save Fordhall Farm, and to find out how you can help, visit their web site at: Fordhall Farm (The website link that was here no longer works)
