The June ARS (Audlem Ramblers Society) walk is on Saturday along the Offas Dyke footpath on the Shropshire and Powys border. It's a hike that can be as easy or as hard as anyone wishes. There is a circular walk from Clun along the Shropshire Way, the Offas Dyke footpath and then back along the Jack Mytton Way. This is about 9 miles in total with a couple of climbs up to about 500 feet (160 metres). There is the option for stronger walkers to take the Offas Dyke path northwards and finish the stretch up to Montgomery. This would be approximately an extra 3-4 miles with a little more climbing.

Due to a distinct lack of taxis in that area, ideally three cars will be needed. If you are interested, meet at 8.30am (ish) on Audlem car park for an 8.40 prompt set off.
