We are told that a good number of people have been expressing concern about the massive housing development of over 700 dwellings between Audlem and Coxbank announced on AudlemOnline on 1st April.
For those still concerned, the clue is in the date and the lunatic antics that the web team indulges in every April Fools Day.
Our only concern now is that the story might put ideas in a speculative developer's head.
We must also point out to the national newspaper journalist that called Audlem Parish Council asking for their reaction to the proposed giant wind farm at Little Heath that it was another spoof. The journalist did admit to being taken in completely – and their identity will, of course, never be revealed.
The only true story on Tuesday was the lost disabled car badge. We are pleased to report that the badge has been found and is back in its rightful place.
