"30 years touring," Pete 'Duffey' Marshall casually commented one evening, "2012, will be a milestone for us (Pete and Janey Marshall) with Day-Star Theatre".

So to mark the occasion, and you will all find this hard to believe, Day-Star Theatre will perform on home soil, here in Audlem, for the first time in ages!

Regular appearances along the canal ended some time back in 2005, as Day-Star concentrated on the rural touring theatre which has seen them appear in many village halls since then, but not actually here in Audlem.

Promoted by local events company, hoc19, Daystar Theatre will perform their new production 'A matter of time' – where the mundane and the ordinary meet the weird and the eccentric.

A village plan, the gutter press, modern art and...abduction! All will be revealed at the renowned Scout & Guide Hall theatre venue located in Cheshire Street Audlem, on Saturday 24th March.

For this special performance there are a limited ticket numbers available, and in true hoc19 style, you can fetch your own drinks and nibbles will be provided.

Tickets, priced just £7.00, are available from Hoc's Fat Pigeon in Cheshire Street. To reserve or check if any are still available, please call 01270 812424, or email hoc@hocsfatpigeon.co.uk

The performance starts promptly at 8.00pm with doors opening at 7.30pm.
