Thanks to Geoff and Olive from the "Old" 5A's

A great big thank you to Geoff and Olive for all their help and patience, over two decades I was a member of Audlem 5A theatre group and believe me they needed a lot of patience.

They were always there on pantomime week, Geoff helping behind the bar, Olive acting singing and inevitable running the raffle. I think I am the only man dressed as a dame to be walked down the aisle by Olive dressed as a man on many occasions.

My most memorable moment was at the 60 year commemoration of the second world war. I manage to get Geoff back in army uniform and Olive to sing Vera Lynn "we'll meet again" as sixty uniformed actors march off stage never to return. Those memories can not be bought they have to be made and you Geoff and Olive helped to make that.
