"Thank You" to Charity Shop team

As the joint Chair of The Audlem Friends of The Donna Louise Trust, I was delighted to attend the AGM of Audlem's magnificent Charity Shop yesterday.

The work of this team of voluntary workers spend so many hours in raising a truly superb total of close to £30,000 in just a year!

A fantastic sum – which they then donate to worthy causes.

We, in Donna Louise, were the very happy recipients of £4000 from this very generous committee
and we assure all that every penny will go to helping young children who are in the last days of their lives at the marvellous centre at Trentham.

John Cooke and myself will, we hope , continue for many years to be the front people for Donna Louise here in Audlem.

May Hunter, who died so suddenly last year, would have been so happy for this fine gesture.
