Thank You Audlem

We were on one of the boats stranded in Audlem over the weekend, due to the closure of the canal.

I could not have chosen a better place to be becalmed. We had a lovely meal in The Bridge and used their wi fi. We enjoyed the music at the Shroppie Fly. We did all our shopping and had many interesting conversations with friendly local people.

When British Waterways "rescued" us on Sunday, we were genuinely sorry to go. So thank you Audlem.
