The tea boxes are delivered

1st Audlem Guides were out on the evening of 13th October delivering Afternoon Tea Gift Boxes which brought so much pleasure to the lovely people who were nominated to receive one.

Each box contained Tea, Cake, Coffee, Milk and a note explaining that Audlem Guides had raised funds for the boxes through the summer by Running, Cycling, Making and Baking – and that we'd also received kind donations from Birchall Teas and Morrisons in Market Drayton.

We received 52 Nominations in total – some duplicates – so that meant that 44 Tea Boxes were delivered in and around Audlem. Most were for individuals who people thought deserved a 'Thank You' or a little treat to cheer them up – but there were also nominations for village organisations and shops who people were grateful to for their support during lockdown.

The Guides received some lovely Thank You's in person on the evening and more by post and email – here's what people are saying about Audlem Guides...
