Regular readers may remember the Audlem Online story of ten days ago about Anthony and Alex Davis who have recently moved to Audlem and work part-time at the new Overwater Marina. Their passion is dancing and they love teaching this beautiful dance to others.

Our story resulted in a call from the Shropshire Star and they were featured on the front page of yesterday's edition with a photo of the couple practising the tango on their narrow boat moored at the Overwater Marina.

There's a more detailed story on page 15 of the newspaper including how they first met on a holiday in Greece. Alex says: "He proposed within a week and we were married six months later. Anthony was teaching tango and I was already very keen on it so it just snowballed from there."

Alex adds that while she has never been to Argentina, her husband has promised to take her with him on his next trip. She says: "The tango is wonderful and elegant because it looks so simple but by its simplicity it's actually very challenging.

If there are enough people interested and a good local location with a good wooden floor can be found they are keen to set up a Tango class in Audlem. If you're interested please call or email alex@carryontango.co.uk">alex@carryontango.co.uk.

The Tango is an instinctive and improvised dance. No sequences of steps to learn, you will learn how to read each other's body language and move naturally around the floor.

For all the men out there, the Tango is a really macho dance where men learn to be confident and lead their partner around the dance floor to beautiful music.
