Taking Pride in Our Village

Buerton Parish Council Working Group

This weekend they completed their first activity as part of "Taking Pride in Our Village "

The focus was on the village memorial site in preparation for Remembrance Day.
Buerton is a small rural community covering a wide area, the centre of the village includes a playing field with amazing trees & green areas used by many.

The working group is made up of local residents & councillors whose aims are to tidy up areas around the village & make improvements for the benefit of the community.

The group will also be looking at ways of fundraising to support the ongoing maintenance costs of Buerton's Veteran Oak Tree that is nearly 200 years old.
