The National Flu line is now open to relieve GPs of the masses of calls
about flu, so that they can carry on with their day to day surgeries.
We request that if a person thinks they have the flu, to stay at home and call:

or go on the website

Patients will be asked a series of questions. If they have flu then they
will be offered the anit-virals "Tamiflu" or "Relenza" which relieve symptoms but do not cure.
Some certain high risk groups will be advised by the flu line to contact their GP for further advice. Those with the following conditions:
