It's a cast iron certainty that Sweet Caroline will make her presence felt at the Bridge Inn tonight, Thursday. Now one of the great sporting and festival sing-a-longs of all time, anyone who saw Neil Diamond's Glastonbury performance this summer will know the 1969-released number is as popular as ever.

The Bridge's musical night features The Diamond Geezer, the UK's #1 Neil Diamond Tribute Artist – unfortunately, the man himself is not available having returned to the States after his hugely successful Glastonbury appearance. The evening at the Bridge will feature hits from the 50's to the present, Soul, Blues, Rock 'n' Roll, Rock etc. It all starts at 9.00pm.

With luck, there'll be many of Neil Diamond's great numbers in the show – the likes of I'm a Believer – written by Diamond for the Monkees – Cracklin' Rosie, his first US #1 hit; Song Sung Blue and Coming to America as well as Sweet Caroline, apparently inspired by President J F Kennedy's daughter, Caroline, then aged 11.

It should be a great night for music fans – and it's in Audlem tonight at the Bridge Inn, starting at 9.00pm, Thursday 2nd October.
