Survey of cemetery headstones

The survey of all old headstones has been undertaken with a view to having corrective work by, hopefully, local businesses.

Many of the stones are from the 19th century and, as such, it will be near impossible to contact the families of the departed.

Whilst there yesterday on a misty morning, this tree, planted many years ago, was so splendid. It looked as though the berries are lights on the branches. Not sure of its name but perhaps those arborists amongst us could enlighten us.

The corrective work will be carried out as soon as possible and with all due consideration to the dead.
