Tree-mendous gift for Geoff & Olive

A special surprise gift awaits two Audlem residents this morning!

Most Audlem folk know just how proud Olive & Geoff Stretch have been (and quite rightly!) of the magnificent Christmas tree they donated to the village from their garden (kindly sponsored by Norman & Trixie Bonell).

Many of their friends, and also customers at Williams Newsagents, will also know of Olive's constant anxiety about its 'look', and her great sadness at what will naturally be its timely demise in the New Year.

So, in order that Olive & Geoff will have a permanent reminder of their beautiful tree, which most agree has been one of the finest specimens ever to grace Audlem Square, this morning, instead of the usual chocolates and bath salts etc., they will unwittingly be unwrapping this (featured), original signed painting, by local artist Ronnie Cruwys.
