Support for the Festival of Transport

Regular readers will recall the story on 8th August when Ralph Warburton explained why ASET had charged £5 this year for participating vehicles in this year's Audlem Festival of Transport. This caused some complaints but Nigel Young has written to say: "I would just like to comment on Ralph's piece about charging the entrants of the Festival of Transport. Whilst I can understand some peoples dislike of having to pay £5, it is only a small token charge. I have entered the festival about five times over the past few years and was always amazed that no charges were made to the entrants or to the viewing public. So well done ASET for having the guts to enforce a charge and try to balance their books."
