Support and Service available

Sometimes we take our independence for granted. This is until life's events come along and suddenly even the simplest of tasks like attending healthcare appointments, going shopping and general day-to-day activities become difficult and can feel extremely daunting.

For some people it is the uncertainty of not knowing how to get to their appointment. It's the struggle of getting to and from public transport, knowing they are unsteady on their feet and frightened of falling. Many people suffer from anxiety and find it difficult to venture out alone. For others it's the loneliness of having no one to support them during trips out. For some its all of these.

I provide a service to accompany the people I support to attend healthcare appointments, going to the places you used to enjoy like garden centres, parks, and places that hold special memories for you. Attend social events or even to go and choose your own shopping. I would collect you from home at a designated time and be with you throughout the trip if that is what you wish and feel comfortable with. I would then return you safely back to the comfort of your own home.

I also offer a respite/ home sitting companion service. I recognise there is a need for this type of service as family members are looking after their loved ones 24/7. I can provide companionship from one hour upwards depending on your needs. You can be assured your loved one will be safe while you take a deserved break.

My service is available Monday to Friday and is fully insured.

I hold a current enhanced DBS. I am First Aid Trained. References are available.

I am committed to my continued professional development and will access training to further enhance my knowledge and skills.

For further information about my current and previous work experience and skills, in addition to details of cost of services please contact Tim on 07964398957 or tpstokes@live.co.uk
