Yet another alteration to the Sunday fixtures with Grasshoppers this time pulling out of the arranged fixture. A group of their regular players had managed to obtain tickets for a day at Edgbaston on Sunday for the first Ashes Test Match and are unable to field a team.
The fixture secretary sent out a plea to all known contacts and it wasn't until midday on Friday that an alternative game was arranged. The opposition now are Prestwich CC from Manchester and a 2.00pm start time has been agreed for the match.
