Summer BBQ forecast for today

Undeterred by the questionable Met Office forecast of a "BBQ Summer" this year, today Audlem Online is risking all by confidently forecasting there will be a 'Summer BBQ' at the Bridge Inn on what many regard as the last day of Summer, this final day of August.

The BBQ is just one of the attractions at the family fun day at the Bridge on Bank Holiday Monday with a Bouncy Castle and Face Painting.

Favourite local musician Jim Kirkpatrick will also be performing outside on the patio during the afternoon and Sumo Wrestling will provide some fun for the adults!

It will all be under cover just in case the "BBQ weather" of recent months continues to the very end of the Summer season!
