For those readers still finding their way around the new-look Audlem Online, it may be worth exploring the Puzzles section where three versions of Sudoku are available. The puzzles change each day offering a new set of numbers for the Sudoku Classic, the game many will be familiar with; Sudoku Alpha, which uses letters rather than numbers; and Sudoku Rainbow, a more complex version of the puzzle involving colours.

For those that wish, their scores can be submitted so you can see how you are doing compared with other puzzle enthusiasts. One player called 'Rambler' is clearly an impressive puzzle solver who has returned amazingly fast times for both the Classic and Rainbow versions. Play the game and once successfully completed, your time is displayed on screen.

Audlem Online's Sudoku has been designed from scratch by a member of the webteam. It's played entirely on screen and for lesser mortals, including other members of the webteam who tried the games out during their development, there are 'check' and 'cheat' buttons at hand. Check out the Puzzles section from the top bar.
