It's with great sadness that I have to email you guys to inform you that I (Ali) lost George in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Myself, my family and our chippy family are truly devastated at this huge loss of such a special man in all our lives.
We will be closing the chippy next week so the staff can take time to grieve.
We had been at the chippy 9 years in October and I know for a fact George has loved being there and met so many friendly people and made some lovely friends.
