Successful French Quiz at the White Lion

The White Lion at Hankelow held a very successful and entertaining French themed pub quiz last nig ( Monday with over 90 guests soaking up the atmosphere and enjoying the rouge, blanc et bleu decorated pub, it was a great evening

The food was all French too, with a very enjoyable three course meal, whilst all guests took part in a quiz testing our knowledge of all things Français! Hosted by our own Ian Jones adorned with his strings of garlic, there were some very impressive team scores!

John Baker was our chief auctioneer and managed to squeeze every penny out of the bidders to secure a massive amount for the chosen charities MACMILLAN CANCER SUPPORT AND THE NEONATAL UNIT AT LEIGHTON HOSPITAL of over £4,000 on the night
