David Rowe writes: "We are now in a world of carbon footprints, along with high priced electricity, and are told to look after our world. So why, after 13 weeks, is the street light on the Whitchurch Road bridge still on 24 hours a day, seven days a week? And yes, I did report it to the Highways Dept who logged it and said they would deal with it.

"My main concern is that the light will burn out and we all think its been repaired. And when the dark nights are with us we will have no light on a narrow bridge which is a danger even in the daytime. So, Highways Dept, can you fix the light please?"
