Stranded local's plea

In response to Dave Martin's plea – see Audlem Online yesterday – for the Overwater Seaplane to join in the rescue attempt to bring stranded travellers home, I can confirm that we are considering sending a small flotilla of narrowboats down through the English canal network, across the Channel and down through the French canals.

As for the Seaplane – I'm afraid air traffic control at Coxbank International Airport (CIA) have grounded us for the present.
