Steampunk Costumes at Audlem Mill

You might have briefly seen local costume creator Monique Hollinshead's amazing Steampunk costumes in Audlem Public Hall during the Music and Arts Festival a couple of weeks ago, but they are now on view for a much longer period. T

he costumes are on display in Audlem Needlework Shop at Audlem Mill -- until the end of July. They really do have to be seen to be believed. We're not sure quite what they represent, though Monique will know, and she has provided a storyboard on each that you can read -- then make up your own mind! Without doubt, Monique's designs are amazing, and beautifully constructed. And to think that she sometimes wears one of the costumes to events.

Audlem Mill is open seven days a week from 9.00 to 5.00.
