Stan on the wrong end of a dog

Stan, 84 years old and a welcome and cheerful sight in the village even though he has difficulty manoeuvring around with his walking frame, has suffered a sad accident.

Apparently he was out with his brand new walker and had to steer unavoidably through some dog mess on the pavement. On returning home he attempted to wash it off, but suffered a fall in the process.

This not only left him with a "whopper" of a black eye, but he also broke his glasses and now has a bill of £150.00 for repairs which he can ill afford.

Perhaps this story might persuade some careless dog owners to try harder to avoid leaving their mess where the less agile amongst us cannot avoid it.
