Audlem 1st XI's promotion chase goes right down to the wire. They beat Mossley by 88 runs to gain the maximum 25 points. However, as all the top five teams won, nothing will be decided until the last round of games of the season on Saturday.

Glazebury retain the top spot, nine points ahead of both Ellesmere Port and Audlem. Trinity are still a further eleven points adrift and seven points behind them are Saughall.

On Saturday Audlem travel to Ellesmere Port and Glazebury travel to Saughall. Trinity appear to have the easiest game as they are at home to eighth-placed Kerridge.

Put quite simply, if Audlem win on Saturday they are promoted. If they lose it is unlikely that they will go up. If they draw, it will be any two of the five who will be in Division 1 next season, depending on how the results pan out.

Audlem Online wishes the 1st XI well on Saturday.
