After recording three straight wins, Audlem 1st XI were finally beaten on Saturday – by the weather. Friday's torrential downpour had left Trinity's ground at Bramhall under water, so the game was called off without a ball being bowled. Both teams gained 5 points.

Unfortunately, both of the 1st XI's promotion rivals played. Leaders of Division 2 Haslington were held to a draw and gained 8 points. Worse still third-placed Frodsham won and gained the maximum 25 points to leapfrog Audlem into second place.

On Saturday the 1st XI entertain mid-table Styal. The game starts at 2 pm.
