St James Christmas Tree Festival

It is never too early to start planning!

Following last year’s very successful Christmas Tree Festival when the village gave us great support, St James’ Church is considering doing it again this coming winter, with a different theme this year of course! Although we are still in Spring and Christmas seems very distant, planning needs to start.

Running the event depends on whether we have support from local businesses to sponsor the trees, and local organisations volunteering to decorate a tree . Thank you to all those who contributed last year, please consider participating  again this year and, if you missed out supporting this event last year, here is your chance.

This a fun seasonal event with a good cause behind it. The church continues to need to raise funds to replace the old heating system. Our church is enjoyed by many people in times of national or personal celebration and commemoration, weddings, funerals and Remembrance Sunday to name a few. We would like to literally offer a warm welcome to all.
