There is a special Mid-ARS (Audlem Ramblers Society) walk tomorrow for St George's Day.
Will Williams is leading the walk. He has not had time to recce it but he says:-
We will meet at 8.00am on Audlem Public car park.

The walk starts at Bodfari, on the A541. There is some parking on the side of the roads in Bodfari. There may also be parking at the Downing arms or the Oriel Bodfari gallery but I have been unable to contact them to check.
From Bodfari, we go East along the Offa's Dyke path. We countour around an unnamed hill and then steeply up a track to the summit of Moel y parc. From here we bush-bash NW across access land to a right of way winding down to the A451.
We cross this and walk a short distance NE, then go steeply up and then SW back to Bodfari, returning past a fort (206m) and Bodfari church.
I have several options for adding distance and/or ascent if the group are keen and have time, so this route can be easily adjusted.
All walkers must have suitable footwear and be prepared for adverse weather, carry food and water to last for the entire walk and be suitably fit for the various lengths of walk.
Each walk is led by a nominated leader who will carry some first-aid equipment. The leader has the right to refuse to include in a group anyone who is felt not be adequately equipped.
