We are ADCA – Audlem & District Community Action. Our charity was established in 2010 and with the help of our volunteers we provide welfare support to vulnerable and socially isolated adults and older people – and their carers – within Audlem and District. Our aim is to promote health and well-being, social inclusion, community participation and independence. Our website, which is generously hosted by AudlemOnline, is here: https://adca.audlem.org

What do we want?

The ADCA Board of Trustees are seeking to appoint a new Treasurer to the Board as our current Treasurer is retiring. This role includes leading the management of the charity's finances in accordance with Charity Commission and other statutory requirements.

What does the Treasurer do?

The Treasurer works as part of a strong team including the Vice-Treasurer and other administrative support, and takes the lead in preparing quarterly budgets and forecasts for the Trustees and in collating the financial information that goes to our accountants for the preparation of the Annual Report and Accounts. The Treasurer also takes responsibility for regular oversight of the bank account, reporting of all electronic payments to the Board, and for PAYE.

The Treasurer attends and reports at the regular Board meetings, and spends time as required with staff and other Trustees in the ADCA office. They can also volunteer to help with the running of our services in other ways.

What to do next...

If you, or someone you know, would be interested in this volunteer role, please call Roger Millns (ADCA Chair): Tel 07807 402348or email: millnsr@talktalk.net

Note: All Trustees, Staff and Volunteers are DBS checked.
