Some More of my Delights

A well-loved teddy bear.
One I haven't thrown away!
A line of washing dried, ironed and
Ready for another day

A crunch of a biscuit
Newly made
Memories which will never fail
Fizzy bubbles in a glass of lemonade.

A walk with a friend
On a warm sunny day.
Happy voices of children at play -
Beautiful flowers on display.

A favourite tune or a remembered song
One I can dance to, whenever I'm alone
Thinking of times long gone -
And smiling.

The weather forecast -
When the "tomorrows" are fine and mild.
A long-awaited cry of a new born child
A crossword puzzle completed – at last!
