A local Lord Combermere enthusiast writes: "The Lord Combermere will be having new furniture in mid-December as Steve and Helen Nash put their own stamp on how they wish the place to look. One of the possible losses would be the very popular high table and it is felt by the many who enjoy sitting and chatting at this unique piece of furniture that a campaign to Save The High Table from the chop be launched. Perhaps the web team could mount a vote to get folks aware of the danger! Or at least alert all to the threat."
